Hospitality Committee

Purpose

To host receptions to some parish functions; such as,
a.  English Parish Missions (twice a year usually during Advent or Lent)
b.  Spanish Parish Mission (twice a year usually during Advent or Lent)
c.  Special Ministry/Liturgy trainings or workshops (as needed)
d.  Parish Retreats (once a year usually in Spring)
e.  Special liturgies
  - e.g. Taize Mass (once or twice a year)
  - Stations of the Cross (Fridays during Lent)
    This means that the hospitality committee will be coordinating the reception
    with the different parish ministries.
  - Feast of Saint Anne and Saint Joachim (towards the end of June)
f.  And, when the ministry/liturgy coordinator and/or the pastor asks for it.

Service Prayer

O Dearly beloved Word of God,
teach me to be generous, to serve Thee as Thou dost deserve,
to give without counting the cost, to fight without fretting at my wounds,
to labor without seeking rest, to spend myself without looking for
any reward other than that of knowing that I do Thy holy will.
